Purpose Statement
Kwanzaa Community Church is a Jesus Christ centered, loving, liberating church, committed to preparing God’s family to receive and usher in the kingdom of God. We demonstrate the power of God through worship, prayer and education, and combine courageous discipleship, evangelism and transforming service to empower our families and our community.

Kwanzaa Community Church is a loving church, empowering
its members to pray for and usher in the Kingdom of God.
Our Core Values
Foundation of our purpose and vision - Focused
on Jesus Christ
Our fundamental task is to spread the transforming Gospel of Jesus Christ;
inviting persons to experience an intimate relationship with God. The Holy
Spirit empowers us to joyfully praise God, understand scripture, love one
another unconditionally and pray without ceasing. Using these covenant
principles as a guide, we are moved to share the Good News to transform our
families, our community and our city. The Kwanzaa congregation embraces this
divine assignment with humility, compassion, love and commitment.
Leadership - Focused
on Excellence
As a manifestation of Jesus Christ’s love and model of
servant leadership, we believe in actively living out God’s Word through
integrity, joyful service and support to our families, our community and our
city. We strive for excellence by working toward improved effectiveness,
accountability, timeliness, organization and follow -through.
Service - Focused
on Innovation and Continuous Learning
Our strength lies in loving and serving the needs of our
families, our community, and our city, all which are in need of spiritual
development and empowerment. Our ministry teams engage ministry holistically;
focusing on prayer, wellness, recovery and Christian education - all relating to
real-life situations and circumstances.
