A scripturally-based, Christ-centered church, Kwanzaa is a Black church with a multicultural membership. We are a welcoming worshipping community, Eager to share the love of Christ, we love each other unconditionally and lovingly welcome the stranger.

New Members
Expanding our congregation is one of our greatest joys and we welcome new seekers and members with open arms. Whether you are a new believer or already mature in your faith, we accept everyone where they are in their faith journey.

After your decision to join, we help you become a part of the life and membership of the church. Here’s how you become a full member at Kwanzaa:

New Members’ Class
Attend a workshop with Pastor Ralph to learn about the church, its ministries and how you can become involved.

Spiritual Gifts Class
Take a spiritual gift inventory to uncover your God-given spiritual gifts. We’ll help you to discern how you can use your special gifts in the congregation and the community.

New Members’ Dinner
Attend our new members’ dinner, where you’ll meet and fellowship with the church leaders. Receive the “Right Hand of Fellowship.” During our worship service, participate in a welcoming ritual; shaking the hands of all of the church leaders and being presented to the members of the congregation.
